Aaron Rodgers Discusses His Future As Trade Rumors Heat Up

Aaron Rodgers may be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel after initiating discussions with the New York Jets, it seems.

One of the most talked-about subjects in the NFL offseason thus far has been the quarterback’s future, and with free agency about to begin, Rodgers’ next move may already be chosen.

In the “I AM ATHLETE” podcast, former Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall, 39, was questioned about his future and whether it involved anything other than the Green Bay Packers.

Keep tuned, Rodgers advised. It probably won’t take long. All of this has a time restriction.

The veteran was questioned over his meeting with Jets owner Woody Johnson after receiving OK from the Packers to address the New York group.

Keeping his cards close to his breast, Rodgers said, “Well, it’s always exciting meeting significant individuals in the sport. That is all I have to offer you.

The legendary Packers player recently spent time at a retreat in the dark in an effort to get clarity about his imminent move.

During his time at the retreat, the four-time MVP remarked, “All the solutions are right inside me. “Through the gloom, I touched many of them and undoubtedly the sentiments on both sides, and I’m grateful for that moment.

“The choice has a sense of finality. I take it seriously. I don’t want to bother anyone. Hey, I’m responding to inquiries about it because I receive them. It’s essential to me, therefore that’s why I’m talking about it.

After 18 seasons with the franchise, Rodgers’ time in Wisconsin would come to an end if he left the Packers.

Even though the club frequently fell short of expectations, Rodgers achieved extraordinarily high levels of personal accomplishment during his stay in Green Bay and won the Super Bowl once. He has the most throwing touchdowns and yards in team history, respectively.

Rodgers may be leaving the Packers, but Mark Murphy, the company’s president and CEO, isn’t ruling anything out.

He clearly excels as a player. MVP four times. Yet, as Murphy told the NFL website, “I believe it’s trying to discover what he wants and what we want, and maybe we can find a win-win solution.
